Helping ADHD Women Live Fully and Freely

I’m passionate about helping women empower themselves to live fully and freely. Through this process, you begin to embrace the life you want instead of the roles or expectations you’ve had to live out for so long.

 

My Journey with ADHD

From a Young Age

From a young age, I was given tools that helped me move through the world with what I now understand was ADHD. With those supports, I learned to function well enough to excel academically and show up as a high performer at work.

And for a long time, that success made my ADHD nearly invisible—even to me.

From High Achievement to Burnout and Healing

However, eventually the pressure to fit my ADHD star-peg into the round hole of neurotypical life caught up with me.

Trying to maintain that pace burned me out and left me with trauma of my own to heal. I was exhausted and overwhelmed, and while I still looked put-together on the outside, inside I felt anxious, depressed, and barely functioning.

Discovering What Works for the ADHD Brain

It wasn’t until I finally did my own healing work that things began to shift.

As I learned to live in a way that supported both me and my ADHD brain, I started to feel less stressed and more grounded. From there, I found real joy and finally began living more fully and freely.

I love stewarding other women on their own journey to do the same.

⚫  TCTSY-F

Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga certification in 2016 becoming a TCTSY-F and RYT500


⚫  LEVEL TWO IFS TRAINED

Practicing Internal Family Systems since 2017, completed Level One training in 2019, completed Level Two training with a focus on trauma and neuroscience January 2024

⚫  CERTIFIED LIFE COACH

Completed Life Coach Certification Program through Life Purpose Institute 2024.

⚫  CERTIFIED IN MEDITATIVE MOVEMENTS

Completed training in Meditative Movements with Ellie Peterson in January 2022

⚫  EXPERIENCE REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER

Completed 230-hour Yoga Teacher Training at The Yoga Center of Minneapolis in 2010.  Completed 100-hour Anusara Immersion in 2012 in Boulder, CO.

Was an adjunct professor at Colorado State University – Colorado Springs Satellite Campus


  GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR AND YOGA TEACHER

Taught a wide variety of Group Fitness Classes for 17 years (ACE and Spinning Certified during that time).

I started teaching yoga in 2009 (during my teacher training), with a focus on alignment-based yoga.  Since 2019, I have shifted my focus to offering Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga
